splitty is a utility tool designed to simplify the process of splitting bills among friends, avoiding awkward calculations and unfair charges through automation.

Core Features & Usage Flow:

1. Snap: Hold the phone over a receipt or upload one from the camera roll. splitty uses advanced AI & ML tools to automatically identify the restaurant, the items ordered, prices, and tax. It will even suggest how much to tip.
2. Personalize splits: Everything is split by default, but it is easy to tweak. If friends didn't share an item, simply tap on their names and splitty will automatically compute their new total (tax + tip included).
3. Seamless payments: Once the bill is split, users can charge friends the exact amount they owe (incl. tax + tip) with splitty's seamless Venmo integration. No more back-of-the-napkin math, chasing down payments, or friends not remembering what they ordered.

What's New (Version 2.9): Introduces the ability to add discounts and gift cards when splitting bills (tap the '…' icon to use). This update also brings advanced splitting tools: hold down a person’s icon to divide items with quantities greater than 1. Bug fixes and performance improvements are also included.
