ha-mcp is an unofficial MCP server built with FastMCP that bridges AI assistants and Home Assistant. Unlike Home Assistant's built-in MCP server which focuses on voice-style control of exposed entities, ha-mcp provides tools for configuring, building, and maintaining the smart home. It allows AI clients to create and edit automations, scripts, dashboards, and manage system settings.
